honey bunches of oats (wip)
aaa first post!!! this will be a dump on my self insert character, honey prescott-lovelace!!! he has two last names for reasons i haven't quite thought of yet, i just couldn't choose between the two! prescott is a nod to my favorite movie, scream, his original name was dewey because of this as well but me and rennie decided we liked honey better hehe :3c lovelace is just because of the computer programmer honey is a little nerd and i love the reference! i also just love how those two words look together as well... very cutie pie n i LOVEEE cutie pie stuff.
basic info about honey:
honey is probably in his 70s, i'm unsure of an exact age but it's not really relevant to his lore or character, becaaause; he is immortal! to a point anyways, as long as his body is not completely destroyed he Will come back. his body is stuck at around 25 years old, he does NOT look or act 70 even though he's been alive that long. honey is transmasc and uses he/him, he's stealth to everyone besides his best friend/guardian, wulf (placeholder name xD), magnus sinclair, and his boyfriend gabriel :)
as far as honey's personality goes, i'd say he's mostly very kind and timid, to an annoying extent (for both things). he loves reading and is very hyperfocused when he gets into a groove, he loves chai tea lattes and gloomy weather. he's very sheep-like in all his behaviors, outfits, and even appearance!!!
backstory, upbringing
honey was raised in a convent after being left on the doorstep of one as a newborn. he was raised as a woman and was meant to join when he was older, but he was extremely literal with all the biblical lore and was constantly asking questions, much to the dismay of those trying to raise him. he was eventually taen in by the men of letters, and continued his learning about angels specifically, becoming completely enveloped in it and wanting to learn as much as possible as quick as possible. he was monitored closely as he grew up, both for his safety and (mostly) for his knowledge, slowly becoming the chapter's go-to for angelic lore. in his early 20s he befriended (befriended is a light word, more like was pressured LMAO) magnus, and threy became very codependent very quickly, with honey following him after he was cast out of the MOL to continue their research together in his hidden lair. (i can't think of a better word for whatever the freak magnus' house is. bcus that thang is not a house...) during his time with magnus they grew even closer, having an ambiguously romantic relationship, and magnus using magic to make honey immortal as well against his consent.
backstory, gabriel
this is where gabriel comes in! as always gabriel is constantly looking for people to humble, and honey and magnus were perfect targets. magnus was a cocky, egotistical man with way too much power, and honey was a mostly willing asisstant, who just wouldn't stop poking around in his family tree and being nosy about things that were better left alone.
